Date: 11 Nov 2004 Time: 15:04 Name: Charles Ellis CommentsBeth....We all cannot thank you enough for all of this difficult work, or do you also consider this fun? I have some corrections for you about the family. There some that you apparently did not know about. I will get the new listing to either you or your Dad. We love you guys and can hardly wait to see that half grown boy of yours. Uncle Charles and Aunt Betty Hope you plan at least a short trip to Goldsboro while you are "back East".
CommentsThanks for the very fine job of creating this site I may send items from time to time to expand your work. Thanks again, Larry
CommentsYour Uncle Jimmy sent me your wonderful tribute page to your Grandmother....I did not know her personally, but I did attend high school with your Uncle 'Skinny' and Uncle Billy... I now get email from your Uncle Jimmy - Mabel Mitchell watchme1@comcast.net
CommentsHi Beth - This site is a real delight, and I have enjoyed it immensely. Great work - and I will look forward to seeing updates. I am one of Uncle Jimmy's twins, and we laugh often at the story Dad tells of how Mama Pete held me and our other grandmother held brother Clyde for the ride home from the hospital after being born. Apparently, my grandmothers were not the closest of friends, and on arrival at our new home, Mama Pete, in a moment of uncharacteristic oneupsmanship, is alleged to have pointed out to grandmother #2 that during the ride home "Well, MINE didn't cry." The last time I saw Mama Pete, the very first thing she said to me was "You didn't cry, did you?" Pretty keen. Thanks for a wonderful site. Marshall
CommentsDear Beth... This is beautiful, thank you for such a wonderful memory for all of us to cherish. We sure to miss her, she was the most incredible lady there ever was! with love, Carlena Gower.
CommentsBeth, It's nice to have a web designer in the family. You sure did a pretty job on this one. Ronnie and I are very proud of you and know that all the family members who see it will love this site. I like all the articles. They contain the clear version of many of the hazy stories I have heard about the antic of "the kids." Thanks again. Your Daddy
CommentsDoes anyone have a picture of her piano? or her playing the piano? If so, let me know. bethncsu@aol.com
CommentsBeth...you are unreal. I wish I could manipulate my computer like you have done. This is great and we ALL thank you for the hard work and perservearence. You know that we all love you and Greg, even though we have never seen him except in photos, so Greg bring your family to see Grandpa Eddy and come by to see your Uncle Charles and Aunt Betty. P.S. Beth I promised you some corrections. I will try to get them to you for an update.
CommentsBeth, Thanks much for a great beginning to a wonderful tribute to our Mother. Hope you will soon add more family. Such as...my grandchildren. I have a good picture of Mom & Dad taken at their 40th Anniversary that would look good with the article. I'll send you a copy. I also have her piano if you would still like a picture of it just let me know. Steve Beth
